How do you depict a creative narrative on a single A3 page that involves both factual and numerical data, making sure that it follows advanced design and layout principles? With this project, we were asked to do just that.

Researching my chosen topic using credible sources was the first step. As I wanted to do something related to flowers/plants, I chose the Sakura or cherry blossom flower and based my data on its iconic history. I did a sketch of my draft as I envision it, then soon moved to the Adobe Illustrator digital version. The final touches involved deciding the look and feel of the infographic, with a moodboard.
